The Virginia Youth Soccer Association (VYSA) is the official youth soccer organization in Virginia. The VYSA runs the annual Virginia State Cup Championships, a part of the US Youth Soccer Association National Championship Series. State Champions at various ages between 10 and 19 have been crowned since at least 1975.[1]
Local team affiliates include D.C. United, Richmond Kickers, Virginia Beach Mariners, and Northern Virginia Royals.

Williamsburg Wizards - A team consisting of boys born in 1979 and 1980, the Wizards won six State Cup championships in the 1990s. The Wizards were coached by Al Albert of the College of William and Mary.
